Description

Katsu Entertainment is an independent digital entertainment development shop based in Cary, North Carolina. Our core team consists of long-time games industry veterans who have been a part of big hits across multiple platforms, genres, and hardware generations. From AAA console games to top-10 grossing casual mobile titles, our team members have been there, producing games played by tens of millions of players worldwide.

History

After working together every day for 13 years at Electronic Arts, Stephane Imbert and Anthony Marinello formed Katsu Entertainment so they could continue making games with all their favorite people in the industry, regardless of where they may be. Katsu's first project was the 30th Anniversary edition of the classic game Boulder Dash, developed in cooperation with the original game's developers, Chris Gray and Peter Liepa. Since then, Katsu has partnered up with other big names on various prototypes, internal projects, and worldwide game releases. 2016 saw the release of Sausage Bomber, Katsu's first wholly owned orignal IP. Katsu's latest game, Doomwheel, based on the Games Workshop Warhammer universe, launches on August 28th 2017.
